6 Festivals you need to be at in Summer 2019

With more and more people going to festivals abroad, has the UK festival scene reached a turning point and upped it’s game? We’ve put together a list of 6 of the original, and latest festivals the UK has to offer.

Glastonbury Festival

First on the list and making its long-awaited return for 2019 is Glastonbury! Its had nearly two years off and the buzz for the line-up reveal is in full swing! Confirmed so far is Stormzy and Kylie Minogue. Glastonbury is a festival that caters to every music fan and every genre, the 2017 line up included Katy Perry, Craig David, Boy Better Know and Royal Blood just to name a few. Expect a massive party!

Parklife Festival

Parklife is a festival set within the heart of Manchester in Heaton Park, this is the kind of festival that seems to get bigger and bigger every year. This fast-growing festival started life as Mad Ferret festival and was even based in a different location to start off with! The 2018 line up saw the likes of Liam Gallagher, Skepta and house giant Denis Sulta. This year expect the likes of The Streets, Chase and Status, Cardi B and Migos!

Boomtown Fair

Boomtown is one of the most original and unique festivals within the UK. This festival started in 2009 and each year is a chapter with a different name in 2009 was the first chapter BoomTown begins and Chapter 10 was The Machine Cannot Be Stopped. The festival is split up into districts and hosts an extensive, diverse culture full of all different types of music. 2019 features Lauryn Hill, Carl Cox and UB40 with Astro AND Ali Campbell! One to watch out for!

Wonderwood

Music, Colour and Chaos! From the creatives behind the likes of Pier Jam and Bass Jam comes Wonderwood! Wonderwood is a brand-new festival set in the mystical forests of Lancashire! A one-day event in the heart of the summer with a DJ centred very impressive line up with the likes of SASASAS, Holy Goof and Gorgon City! This one it not to be missed, the whole line-up isn’t even out yet!

Creamfields

No essential festival guide is complete without Creamfields! The festival celebrated its 20th anniversary last year and has grown from a one-day event to a four-day event! So, if a weekend of great music isn’t good enough get an extra 2 days from Creamfields! The dance festival seems to become more impressive every year, this year expect Calvin Harris, Faithless, Oliver Heldens and many more. Creamfields are three-time winners of Best Dance Festival and in 2016 won the award for Best Major Festival in the Uk Festival Awards.

Lytham Festival

Lytham festival celebrates its 10th Anniversary this year and they are celebrating in style with Headliners Stereophonics! Lancashire’s biggest festival has hosted the likes of Sir Tom Jones, Alfie Boe and Faithless before now! Accompanying Stereophonics are Tom Grennan, Rod Stewart and Kylie Minogue! Lytham Festival is another huge festival that we have had the pleasure to work with. This massive local event is the kind of event that you could be working at! If you want to a collective of rising stars and legends at the same festival this is the place for you.
